Created by developers who love board games

After attending numerous conventions with various intricate paper-based systems for managing their bring and buy sales, we thought there must be an easier way.
So we set out to create it.

Suitable for staffed and unstaffed events

The platform comes in two versions - a simplified version for unstaffed events, and a more powerful version for staffed events.

Staffed events

list

For events

Staffed events can use the platform to administer users, check in games from sellers, transact sales, and return unsold items to sellers at the end of the event. The small fee for the use of the platform, and any commission that the event wishes to charge, are automatically charged to sellers, and full details of all listings and transactions are provided for each seller to sign at once they collect their proceeds and any unsold games.

search

For buyers

Buyers can browse live listings on their mobile devices from anywhere at your event, or browse the physical bring and buy stock, in which each game's custom-printed label has useful information about the game's weight, rating, playing time, and average new and second-hand sale prices, all without having to register. If they choose to register an account they can add favourite games and get alerts when matching games are added to the event's sale.

shopping_cart

For sellers

Sellers can register in advance and upload their listings before the event, allowing them to quickly and easily check their games into the bring and buy on arrival. Once the sale is underway they can view live updates to their listings' statuses, see how much money they've made from sales (less any commmissions), and when the event has finished they can easily retrieve any unsold listings along with their sale proceeds.

Unstaffed events

list

For events

Completely maintenance free, the platform allows sellers to create listings, buyers to create watchlists, and all users to browse the available listings, but rather than transact through the platform, it puts buyers and sellers in direct contact with each other to arrange the sale and payment between themselves. We recommend the provision of a laptop or two at the event to allow sellers who haven't created their listings in advance to do so at the event itself.

search

For buyers

Buyers can browse live listings on their mobile devices from anywhere at your event, or browse the physical bring and buy stock - although unlike a staffed event, games on sale will only have the enhanced price labels if the seller prints them out at home. If buyers choose to register an account they can add favourite games and get alerts when matching games are added to the event's sale.

shopping_cart

For sellers

Sellers can register in advance and upload their listings before the event, allowing them to quickly and easily check their games into the bring and buy on arrival. Once the sale is underway they are contacted direct by buyers to arrange a transaction, and then mark the listing as sold themselves to keep the listings up to date. They can mark listings as unsold at any time to withdraw them from the bring and buy.
